The new Continental GP 5000 AS TR tire represents a significant step forward in the field of high performance tires for cyclists. With improved grip on wet surfaces, it offers a superior level of grip while maintaining the same level of performance as the hugely popular Grand Prix 5000 S TR. This new version of Continental does not compromise on quality and is a real success.

Continental 's Grand Prix 5000 S TR is a true best-seller, known for its exceptional performance and unrivaled reliability, making it the number one choice of demanding amateur and competitive cyclists. The German brand wanted to further improve the grip of this tire while maintaining its high level of performance, by developing the Grand Prix 5000 All Season TR. This new tire uses the same pattern as the GP 5000 S TR and incorporates a specially designed rubber compound to improve grip on wet surfaces.

Continental has retained the technologies that made the Grand Prix 5000 S TR a success, allowing this new model to retain the key characteristics of the Grand Prix 5000. Black Chili rubber offers the perfect balance between grip and performance, through the use of the latest polymer and carbon particles. Vectran technology is also present to provide optimal puncture resistance and exceptional durability. Finally, the Lazer Grip considerably improves lateral grip for exceptional cornering grip.
